In addition to the hours listed here at the Town Hall, Citizens Bank will also be collecting taxes at the Vernon Office located at Hwy 164 and National Avenue during regularly scheduled hours.  The last day of collection at the bank is January 31st. Residents making their payment at Citizens Bank will receive a stamped receipt indicating their taxes were paid at Citizens Bank. An official receipt will be mailed via USPS from the Town of Vernon within the following week.

For security reasons, residents paying with cash are encouraged to make their payments at the bank.   Any cash payments made at the Town Hall must be made in the exact amount, as we will be unable to make change. Residents are also encouraged to mail in their payments to avoid standing in line at the Town Hall.  Receipts are mailed promptly back to you.

Available again this year is Point & Pay.  Credit card, debit card and e-checks will be accepted.  A convenience fee will be charged to the taxpayer accessing this service.  Example:  A $3,500.00 tax bill will be charged a 2.5% service fee in the amount of $87.50. Or, if using an e-check  a $3.00 fee up to $10,000 or $10.00 fee over $10,000.  Visit  the Waukesha County Treasurer  web page to access this option to make an on-line payment.
