NOTICE is hereby given that on September 16, 2019 the Wisconsin Department of Administration (“Department”) will hold a public hearing under section 66.0307(5)(b), Wis. Stats. from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Big Bend Elementary School (Cafeteria), W230S8965 Big Bend Drive, Big Bend, WI 53103, to receive information relating to the proposed cooperative plan between the Village of Mukwonago and Town of Vernon.

The hearing will provide all parties and individuals interested in the proposed cooperative boundary plan with an opportunity to be heard. The Department will make no decisions at the hearing.

The public hearing will be a legislative-style hearing to gather information to assist the Department in making its determination as required by section 66.0307(5) Wis. Stats. Interested parties and individuals may present information on the proposed cooperative plan and are encouraged to relate their comments to the Department’s review criteria given in section 66.0307(5) Wis. Stats. Furthermore, participants are also invited to consider the comments of any preceding speaker to avoid unnecessary and time-consuming duplication of information. Comments may also be submitted to the Department prior to the hearing, as well as within 10 days following the hearing which is Thursday, September 26, 2019.
