NOTICE OF JOINT REVIEW BOARD MEETING
REGARDING THE PROPOSED PROJECT PLAN AND BOUNDARY
FOR TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICT (TID) NO. 1
IN THE TOWN OF VERNON, WISCONSIN

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town of Vernon will hold a Joint Review Board (JRB) meeting on January 16, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Vernon Town Hall, located at W249 S8910 Center Drive, Vernon, WI 53103. The purpose of this meeting is for the JRB to consider approval of the resolution adopted by the Vernon Town Board on January 9, 2020 for purposes of considering the proposed Project Plan for TID No.1. The meeting is open to the public.

Agenda

1.  Call to Order.

2.  Roll Call.

3.  Approval of the Minutes from the December 10, 2019 JRB Meeting.

4.  Review and discussion of the proposed Project Plan and Boundary for Tax Incremental District No. 1.

5.  Approval of the Joint Review Board Resolution creating TID No. 1.

6.  Adjourn.

The purpose of this meeting is to reconvene the Joint Review Board to review and discuss the proposed Project Plan for the Town of Vernon Tax Incremental District #1, pursuant to Section 66.1105 and 60.23 of the Wisconsin Statutes. A final decision will be made regarding TID No. 1, a Resolution will be approved, and the municipality will be notified of its decision. This meeting should be concluded in less than 1 hour. The Town of Vernon has contracted with Robert W. Baird & Company to assist in the creation of the project plan listed above. Persons desiring information on the proposed District and Project Plan may contact the Town of Vernon Clerk/Treasurer at 262-662-2039.  A copy of the proposed Project Plan is available for review in the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office located at the Vernon Town Hall W249 S8910 Center Drive and will be provided upon request.

It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other government bodies of the municipality, may be in attendance at the above-mentioned meeting to gather information. No action will be taken by any governmental body at this meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to in this notice.
